Am behind on posting

I am behind on posting the last few weeks of game pictures. I have a lot of things going on right now. I am hoping to get on it over this coming weekend.

I haven't fallen off the list. I have been taking pictures here and there - I just haven't had the time to get them uploaded and posted. Maybe this weekend, I will do that. 

Okay, attempting Photo A Day again

I am going to attempt Photo A Day again. However, I am not going to stick to a list or any guidelines.  I’m just going to take a photo a day that’s part of our daily life. That applies to what my kids are doing, our dogs, or what Jeff is doing.  I was trying too hard last year by sticking to the theme list/365 list.  The difference is that I’m also doing Project Life which is going to be consisting photos from our daily life too. So it will works on here too.  I’m not sure how I’m going to be uploading it. If it’s going to a few days uploading or once a week uploads.  I’ll be playing around with several methods to see what will works the best for us.   

So now, let’s begin. I will start the next post with photos.

Laptop update

Well, I have some good and bad news regarding the laptop. The good new is that the hard drive is intact so we are able to recover the photos and the documents.  The bad new is that the laptop, at this point, doesn't look like it's repairable.   However, the new laptop will be here this weekend.  It definitely has taught me a lesson - back it up to the portable hard-drive, burn a copy to CD and back it up on our google storage.  Looks like I have a long process to do that, given that there's about 12 years worth of photos on the hard drive.  

Laptop crashed.... photos lost. :(

Our laptop has crashed almost 2 weeks ago. At this point, I lost the last 4 1/2 months worth of pictures, including roughly 2,000 sport photos. :(   Right now, it is in the shop and hopefully the photos can be recovered.  I had planned to back it up on that Monday, but it had crashed the day before.  Let's say I was pretty upset/sick to my stomach over this.  I am still holding out hopes that the hard drive can be recovered..  So I have no photos to show for the last 4 1/2 months, however, my camera card had some of the football photos and soccer photos.  I will get them uploaded eventually - however, my photo editing programs were on the laptop.  I'm posting from the tiny netbook, LOL.

Been too busy!!

I have been so busy this summer in between of the sale of our old home, purchasing our new home, packing, moving and unpacking.  Getting the kids registered for new school and they're also playing football, actually two of our boys.  In about a week or two, we'll be tackling soccer for all 3 boys. So you can say it has been somewhat crazy summer.  We love it at our new house! I've not had much time to get around and get some pictures. However, I do have a lot of football pictures. LOL!  It's going to be crazy until mid-October between football and soccer practices/games.

Photos - slacking off a bit. :(

I've been slacking on and off about taking photos everyday - but there are pictures here and there. I will just post what I can.  Now that we are done with our house major make-over and it is on the market, that I should be able to kick back a bit and get back into my photography and scrapbooking.    Things are picking up around here with activities (especially sports!).  I can't promise that I will get all the photos up right away, but I will EVENTUALLY get them posted. :) Now that I'm signing up for a few photo challenges. Let's see if that will kick me in gear and be more diligent about posting them!   If you'd like to be added into the blogroll - please leave a comment and I'll get you added. I'd appreciate any positive and negative feedbacks. I'm looking to work on my skills ( I'm FAR from being good at this, but I do the best with what I have! :) )

Dating photos

I am dating the photos today --  I am hoping to get it all caught up by the end of the week - with the copyrighting the photos and getting them uploaded! :)

Sheesh.... Lack of posting pictures.. :(

Sheesh, April is here already and I haven't posted anything since Feb? Don't fear. I have been taking pictures here and there, but just not everyday like I should be.   The house projects is finally dying down. We have one big project left, but we probably won't tackle that until this weekend, I believe. Today I am kinda recovering from our crazy week - we completed 2 full size room in less than 8 days, that involved moving stuff out of the room, getting the room done, new carpet installed, installing new things, then move things back in!  Now I can say we have the spare room aka tv room done and the master bedroom will be done as tomorrow (just waiting on new carpet and new closet doors then it is done.)

I will try to get the pictures up soon!!

I am SO behind!

I am SO behind!! Also, kinda starting to fall off the wagon a bit, but This is the furthest I have made with the 365 projects than I did back in 2009.  ANY IDEAS! ? :D

Hold on!! :)  I will upload single picture for each day. I had someone email - asking for close up of the pictures.  I have to admit - I've been taking my pictures with my cellphone camera... I need to break that habit and start using my camera! :D  However today I DID! :) So I will start off with today's POTD (photo of the day) and work my way back with those photos (with their correct dates in the title: so watch for those) - there will be some days where there are 1-3 photos each day.

Starting a new project

I am starting a new project - modified of Project Life that Becky Higgins is offering, but the modified idea came from one of great CTMH Consultant, Michelle Nist.

How I'm going to do this is pick 5 photos instead of 7. I will be using the 6 horizionital page protectors that is CTMH product, Using 5 slots for photo and the final one will be the journaling slot. I will upload when each page is completed. I have completed yesterday and today's.  I will be posting it once a week.
